Artist Biography

 
 

 

John White grew up in a family of artists and engineers, and was drawing before he could write. He excelled in art throughout his school years, graduating college earning an Advertising Design degree. After several years working in advertising agencies, John started his own creative illustration business. “I’m incredibly fortunate to have built my career doing what I love…drawing and painting”.

 

John is an internationally known illustrator with clients in the US, Europe, Canada, the UK and Caribbean. John has over 25 years experience illustrating for clients including Kellog’s, Black & Decker, Michelin Tires, Bank of America, Ingersoll Rand, Siemens, Osprey Publishing, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Baker Book House and Johnson Motors, among many others.

 

John paints a variety of subjects including landscapes, historical events and marine settings. His work has been featured on The History Channel and has appeared in Aviation Art Magazine and Aviation History Magazine.

 

John’s paintings are best known for his ability to capture light; especially the way he renders water in his seascapes and landscapes. His work has been widely recognized and is included in numerous corporate and private collections.
