On December 1st I purchased at the premiere of the Mitch Schlimer Artography exhibit and show  at the Mary Martin downtown gallery on East Bay a  truly “1 in a million moment“ of this custom ordered Giclee canvas print of this gorgeous and extremely elusive male Least Bittern displaying for his mate which is extremely rare to capture yet capturing the rare and sharing is Mitch’s specialty as I have learned over the last few years together as friends!
I was privileged to know and see Mitchell Schlimer in my very early days taking bird photos. We were both at the Old Pitt St. Pier taking photos and started talking and he invited me to join his group called Mount Pleasant Wildlife and Nature Photography on Facebook which today has over 1,300 members and growing thanks to Mitch marketing and administrative skills !
I was hooked after seeing his unique and beautiful Artography as his photos actually look and feel like paintings which is a whole other level and also enjoy the other photographers pictures posted!
Mitch also gave me real guidance and numerous tips as he is always eager to help anyone and a true inspiration to practice, practice and more practice in order to become even better with my photography and it has helped me tremendously!
Mitch has so much patience which he tells me is so important to get the one in a million picture. I’ve not mastered anything like that, but it’s just so good to be out in nature and looking and breathing bird photos or landscape.
Mitch is truly a really good friend and inspiration to us all as his “Mitch Schlimer Artography” show is special and I recommend all my friends not only see it, but also buy some of his true one of a kind moments as Mitch is so deserving of this awesome show.
Thank you so Mitch and I know 2024 is going to be special for you, your Artography and your merchandise line showcasing your Artography from not only Charleston, but the world.

Dear Mitch & Mary
On Friday we received the Roseate Spoonbill Reflection “1 in a million moments” which is the first of 4 pieces of Mitch’s Artography that I purchased from the gallery on December 1st at the opening night of his monthly show and all I can say and feel is WOW!
Truth is it is even more beautiful than when I saw it in Mary’s gallery and in there I was blown away at this special event and exhibit and show of Mitch’s Artography!
As expressed the fine art that arrived first is the Roseate Spoonbill Reflection on metal and you picked a perfect texture for Mitch’s Artography as it even enhances the incredible and one of kind moments Mitch captures and is best known for over the decades he has been following his deep passion for photography.
Please know that I gave this to my son Jaxson for his Christmas present and he absolutely loved it and I know it will bring him a lifetime of joy and a sense and the benefits of Mitch’s phototherapy that has helped me and my family and I know countless others.
I’m looking forward to my mother’s reaction when the piece of the gorgeous 2 Green Herons I purchased for her arrives by Tuesday and really also excited to receive the 36 x 48 plexiglass of the Roseate Spoonbill reflection as we loved it as well, plus the Yellow Crowned Night Heron displaying that I call “ what’s up doc” based on all the wonderful and valuable business and personal “prescriptions “ Mitch has given me over the decades being a fellow Entrepreneur.
Mitch’s Artography is truly not only unique and is “1 in a million” and will proudly hang in my own home for all to enjoy!
The peace and joy these will provide is hard to put into words. I just wanted to thank you both for making this a reality.
I wish you both continued success as this is just the tip of the iceberg together and as you both together make the world a better place in your own ways.
Happy Holidays!
